About the Owner:

Richie Johnson has been actively involved in the construction industry in the Charleston area since 1996.

"After working as a tax accountant and CPA for six years, I made the decision to pursue a career doing something more tangible -something more 'hands-on'.  For me, the satisfaction I get from helping someone create their dream home is hard to beat".  -RJ

In 1996 Richie and a partner started a concrete construction company specializing in foundations for residential and light commercial projects.  Relationships with local builders were formed and eventually a supervision position with a custom home builder was offered.  Richie spent the next eleven years working as a project manager and estimator, supervising high-end residential construction projects during the housing boom of the late 1990s and early years of the 21st century.

"During the construction boom I found myself in charge of so many great projects, from new construction and renovations in downtown Charleston to custom homes in West Ashley, Mt. Pleasant, The Isle of Palms and Wild Dunes as well as on Wadmalaw, James Island, Johns Island, Folly Beach, Kiawah, Seabrook and Daniel Island.  These were big projects with large budgets that required countless meetings and coodinating the effort of many individuals.  It was my job to bring it all together for the client.  Relationships formed with subcontactors, material suppliers as well as the clients during these years continue to benefit me today". -RJ
